折り紙のペリカンの作り方

Start with a square sheet of origami paper. I am using a 7×7 inch origami paper.
If you only have regular paper, follow these instructions on how to make a square origami paper.

最初に正方形の折り紙を用意します。私は7×7インチの折り紙を使っています。
普通の紙しかない場合は、正方形の折り紙の作り方に従ってください。

Rotate the paper diagonally.

紙を斜めに回転させます。

Fold the left corner to the right corner.

左の角を右の角に向かって折ります。

Unfold.

開きます。

Fold the lower half of the right side to line up with the center.

右側の下半分を中央の線に合わせて折ります。

Fold the lower half of the left side to line up with the center.

左側の下半分を中央の線に合わせて折ります。

Fold the lower half of the left side to line up with the center.

左側の下半分を中央の線に合わせて折ります。

Fold the lower half of the right side to line up with the center.

右側の下半分を中央の線に合わせて折ります。

Turn the figure over.

図形を裏返します。

Fold the bottom corner to the top corner.

下の角を上の角に向かって折ります。

Fold the figure in half from left to right.

図形を左から右に向かって半分に折ります。

Rotate the figure 90 degrees counterclockwise.

図形を反時計回りに90度回転させます。

Open the flaps to access the wedge from inside.

フラップを開いて、中からくさび形の部分にアクセスします。

Gently pull up the wedge from inside and crease at the base so that it settles in that position.

中からくさび形の部分を優しく引き上げ、根元で折り目をつけてその位置に固定します。

To form the head, open the wedge from the front.

頭を作るために、前からくさび形の部分を開きます。

Bend the wedge about two-fifths from the top.

くさび形の部分を上から約5分の2のところで曲げます。

Pinch both sides together.

両側をつまんで合わせます。

Pull the head and pinch it so that it can be reverse folded inside.

頭を引っ張ってつまみ、中に逆折りできるようにします。

Lay the model over.

モデルをひっくり返します。

Fold the wing to line up with the top of the pelican’s body.

ペリカンの体の上部に合わせて羽を折ります。

Flip over the model.

モデルを裏返します。

Fold the wing to line up with the top of the pelican’s body.

ペリカンの体の上部に合わせて羽を折ります。

Loosen the wings a little bit so they can serve as a stand for the pelican. Voilà! You just made yourself an origami pelican.

羽を少し広げて、ペリカンの台座になるようにします。さあ、これで折り紙のペリカンの完成です！
