Origami, or paper folding, is the art of folding a flat sheet of paper into a finished sculpture using some techniques. Paper cutting and gluing is not a part of it. There are only a few basic origami folds, but they can be combined to make more complicated designs. It is not just a very simple paper-folding, but it also incorporates some subjects of mathematical interest. Japan's space agency is now planning to launch an origami airplane from space.
