In difficult situations, a soldier must stay solid and calm while trying to solve problems quickly. If someone is injured, somebody in the team looks for a solution and checks whether something can be done immediately. Training teaches that mistakes can happen sometimes, but responsibility is important, so a leader may say sorry if the plan fails. This attitude also helps each son and daughter in military families learn the value of honesty and teamwork.
