1. Nice adjective [nahys]

- kind and friendly
(やさしい)

◼ Example: He is a very nice person.
◻ Note: Please use 'nice' in a sentence.

2. Late adjective [leyt]

- after the usual time or the time that was planned
(遅れた)

◼ Example: The train was late today.
◻ Note: Have you ever been late for school?

3. Early adverb [ur-lee]

- before the usual time or the time that was planned
[(予定よりも)早く]

◼ Example: My dad went home early from work today.
◻ Note: Do you go to school early?

4. Sorry adjective [sor-ee, sawr-ee]

- used to show that you are sad about a person or thing
(気の毒に思う、残念に思う、申し訳なく思う)

◼ Example: I am sorry to hear that you lost your puppy.
◻ Note: Do you feel sorry when something bad happens to your friend?

5. Near preposition [neer]

- not far away
(近い)

◼ Example: The park is near to my house.
