Part 1: Vocabulary words

1. Theater noun [thee-uh-ter, theeuh -]

a place where you can watch movies, plays, or other performances
(劇場)

◼ Example: Let's go to the theater to watch a movie.
◻ Note: What's your favorite type of theater performance?

2. Clothes noun [klohz, klohz]

items you wear, such as shirts, pants, dresses, etc.
(洋服)

◼ Example: I need to buy some new clothes for work.
◻ Note: Do you prefer casual or formal clothes?

3. Yesterday adverb [yes-ter-dey, -dahy]

the day before today
(昨日)

◼ Example: I went to the park yesterday.
◻ Note: What did you do yesterday?

4. Vegetable noun [vej-tuh-buh l, vej-i-tuh-]

a plant that is eaten as food, such as carrots, broccoli, etc.
(野菜)

◼ Example: I try to eat vegetables every day.

5. Own verb [ohn]

to have something as your possession
(所有する)

◼ Example: I own a car and a house.
