Part 1: Vocabulary words

1. Something noun [suhm-thing]

a thing that is not known, named, or specified
(何か)

◼ Example: I want to eat something sweet.
◻ Note: Can you tell me something interesting about yourself?

2. Fever noun [fee-ver]

a condition in which the body temperature is higher than normal, usually caused by illness
(熱)

◼ Example: She has a fever and needs to rest.
◻ Note: Have you ever had a high fever?

3. Building noun [bil-ding]

a structure with a roof and walls, such as a house or factory
(建物)

◼ Example: The new office building is under construction.
◻ Note: Describe a building you like in your city.

4. Dark adjective [dahrk]

having very little or no light
(暗い)

◼ Example: It's dangerous to walk alone in the park when it's dark.
◻ Note: Are you afraid of the dark?

5. Eye noun [ahy]

the organ of sight in humans and animals
(目)

◼ Example: She has beautiful blue eyes.
◻ Note: What color are your eyes?
