Not as much as; smaller in number than.

◼ Example: I bought the dress for less than twenty dollars.

2. leave a message (for A) phrase [leev uh mes-ij (for A)]

To leave a spoken or written communication for someone.

◼ Example: Can you leave a message for John?

3. fire noun [fahyuhr]

A process in which substances combine chemically with oxygen from the air and typically give out bright light, heat, and smoke; combustion or burning.

4. alive adjective [uh-lahyv]
